Bring the Waterways Report Card into your classroom
We've designed a lesson plan for primary school students to guide them through the interpretation of the Waterways Report Card. In a group, students will identify areas that need a little attention, and develop an action plan to improve the health of our local rivers, creeks, and coasts. We recommend up to one hour for this activity.
What we're keeping watch on
Print and play 'Drains and Ladders'
We've reimagined the classic Snakes and Ladders game with a splash of adventure!
Journey down the river toward the coast, making choices that help the health of our waterways. Climb ladders and move ahead for good actions, and go sliding down the drain for harmful actions. Can you reach the coast as a waterway hero?

Want to make it even more challenging? Create your own version! We've included a blank gameboard template so players can add their own good and not-so-good waterway actions.
It's a fun way to dive in and discover how you can help the health of our waterways.
